Department of Psychology

Welcome! Psychology is among the largest and most popular departments on the Tempe campus, with 52 faculty, 120 graduate students and 1700 undergraduate majors. Our mission is three-fold: to create an environment that prepares undergraduates to take their place in the world as effective practitioners, to prepare graduates to conduct innovative psychological research and pursue careers that use those skills to the benefit of their community, and to foster faculty growth in expertise both in teaching and scholarship.
